God Is… Our Comforter!
We all go through the valleys. Times when we need someone to come along side of us who truly cares. As the apostle Paul said in II Corinthians 1:3-4 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, by the same comfort that we ourselves are comforted by God.
As God gives us the ability to come along side of others to be their helpers, He is showing His love through us and they will know we are Christians by our love. Be still and know that He is God. Allow Him to wrap His loving arms around you and comfort you. Then look for opportunities to comfort others with the comfort you were comforted with.
