Dress For the Battle
This week’s Devotional Topic
The peace of God in the life of the believer does not come cheaply or easily. We must be alert to the devil’s tactic’s and knowledgeable of our defense against his evil schemes. Every morning we should mentally rehearse the list of spiritual pieces of armor that God provides the believer in Ephesians.
The pieces of spiritual armor includes: (1) the Belt of Truth, (2) Breastplate of Righteousness, (3) Gospel of Peace, (4) Shield of Faith, (5) Helmet of Salvation, and finally (6) the Word of the Spirit. I can defeat Satan at every turn with the Word of God. You will be amazed at the results when you dress for the battle on a daily basis, and you can experience the power of His conquest and prevailing peace as you put on the Armor of the Spirit designed by God.
