A Gentle Spirit
This week’s Devotional Topic
This week here on our Call To Worship program we will talk about having a gentle spirit. The cure for strife is not feminine or masculine. It is a divinely given spirit. A gentle person is a peacemaker. A gentle person is an effective tool in Christ’s hand in almost every relationship. The gentle spouse shows the love of God to his (or her) mate. The gentle worker demonstrates the reality of Christ’s compassion is a cold and harsh workplace.
Ask Christ to fill you daily with the Holy Spirit. Rest in Him. Abide in Him. The divine sap of God’s gentle Spirit will flow through you to others who desperately need the healing touch of God. You will be an attractive witness for Christ and sow the seeds of peace everywhere you go. What a wonderful harvest you will reap.
