A Fresh Encounter With God
This week’s Devotional Topic
On Call To Worship this week, we are going to be sharing a devotional by Dr. Charles Stanley about experiencing a “Fresh Encounter with God.” A fresh encounter with God may be just the beginning that you need. Often we encounter difficulties in our lives and we need to experience a fresh encounter with the Lord so we can have joy in all the aspects of our lives. By a fresh encounter, I mean a relational experience with the Savior that renews and refreshes our soul.
If you are in need of a “fresh” touch from the Lord, the most important step you can take is to spend some quality time with the Him. Maybe you freely admit you haven’t sensed His presence in your life as you once did. As long as you desire to walk in fellowship with Christ, you will find many fresh encounters along the way, each lovingly designed by your Heavenly Father to bring you into a deeper worship and knowledge of Him and to give you ever increasing Joy.
