This week’s Devotional Topic
REMEMBER – Memorial Day
God considers many things in this life important to remember. Here are some things to think about this Memorial Day weekend.
Think about the rainbow and remember how that it represents an eternal covenant between God and man. Remember the love of God and how it never fails. As you think about those in the military who have paid the ultimate price, remember the sacrifice of God’s son on the cross that paid for our sin. Remember the miracles of Christ on this earth and the many miracles you have seen in and around your life and testimonies of others as to God’s faithfulness. Remember those friends and relatives who have gone before. And invest some time thinking about how YOU will be remembered. As the words from the poem “Only One Life” by C.T. Studd make so clear…Only one life, ’twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.
