This week’s Devotional Topic
Chosen By God
The Bible tells us that God loved us and He chose us! The Apostle Paul’s testimony to the Church at Ephesus was that God chose us before creation. Ephesians 1:3-6. And this is real love, not that we love God but that He first loved us. God chose us to become like His Son, so that His Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And having chosen, He called them to come to Him. And having called them, He gave them right standing with Himself. And having given them right standing, He gave them His glory.
As we are chosen by God, we should choose to obey Him. And another result of being chosen is that we show others the goodness of God, by His grace, that He called us out of darkness.
As Christians, we rejoice as we continue to worship and praise God for Who He is and for what He has done and IS doing in and through us as His children.
