This week’s Devotional Topic
Deliverance
God is our Deliverer. He loves His creation and He loves being the ultimate Hero, delivering us from trials, trouble and danger. One of the accounts most of us remember far back when we were children learning the accounts of the Bible is when Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were delivered from the fiery furnace.
As we are stepping through the first few days of the first month of this new year, may our Deliverer give us wisdom to rest in Him and in His strength. May God help us to remember the fact that nothing is impossible with Him. He will direct our steps through any trials and tests that come our way. He will provide a way of escape that we will be able to bear it. And He will deliver us from temptation and help us to resist the devil as he will flee from us. Rest in God’s peace that passes all understanding. Remember to thank Him for His faithfulness and unfailing love. Rest now in Him and in His presence knowing that our deliverer will never leave us or forsake us. Have patience as you watch and wait for Deliverance. It is always in the fullness of His time.
