Everlasting Life
Ever thought about the Eternal, Everlasting Life that is talked about in scripture? It is promised as a hope for the believers. Do you have everlasting life? How does one receive that and what does it look like? We are told in John 3:16 that God so loved the world that He gave His only son so that whoever believes in Him would not perish but would have everlasting life. That is how we receive it. It is a gift from God by His grace. Oh yeah, this body is flesh and bones, of this world. It will die someday and our Soul, the part that is us, will instantly be in heaven and will never die. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. So says the Apostle Paul in his second book to the church in Corinth.
That eternal life will be something that the bible says we can’t even imagine. Everlasting life with no sickness, no pain or dying. The concept of heaven is one concept that we are told to encourage one another with. That is worth celebrating!
