The Shepherd and His Sheep
Can you imagine what sheep would do without a Shepherd? Without direction, they would probably get lost and starve. The Bible speaks about us as “sheep”. We are lost, without a Shepherd. When we become a Christian, Jesus becomes our shepherd… the “good Shepherd” who cares for us, makes sure that we have food to eat, protects and defends us. He knows us very well and knows us by name.
As the good Shepherd, He laid down His life for His sheep… for you and me. Once you accept that fact, He will continue to love and protect you both now and into eternity with Him in Heaven.
