This week’s Devotional Topic
Tomorrow
We are not guaranteed the next heartbeat. No matter how healthy you are, no matter how much money you have, no matter how big your house and property are, no matter how good your security system is or safe you feel – God only knows when your body will stop working. No more tomorrows!
And you can trust Him as your heavenly Father to take care of you during this life. Don’t worry about it! “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. Do your best, then trust God for the rest.
Don’t procrastinate! What ever your hands find to do, do it with all your might. What would Jesus Do? Focus on things that last, the eternal, your legacy. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.
Remember that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Heaven is the home of all our tomorrows!
