Doing Good
For the Christian, doing good requires two things: A willing heart and the power of God! As we have opportunity, we should do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith. We are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Stay in God’s word. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip His people to do every good work. As we see from God’s word, for the Christian, doing good requires two things: A willing heart, the heart of a servant and the power of God through His Spirit, through the power of His love!
