Our Great Shepherd
Our God is the good shepherd, the chief shepherd – the “Great Shepherd”. He knows His sheep, and they know Him. His sheep hear His voice, and they follow Him. He gives them eternal life, and they will never perish; neither can or will anyone snatch them out of His hand.
If you are a Christian, then He is your Shepherd. And because the Lord is your shepherd, you will have all that you need. He will provide you with rest and the peace that passes all understanding. He will renew your strength and guide you along the right paths, bringing honor to His name. Even when you walk through the darkest valley, you don’t need to be afraid, because He is close beside you and will never leave you nor forsake you.
