Do You try to impress God with all that you do for Him? God is not easily impressed. Come to think of it, How exactly can you impress a perfect, unflawed Deity? I have concluded that trying to impress God is simply a waste of time. But there is one virtue that apparently does influence our awesome God. The singular human attribute that God rewards is a humble heart and mind. So if you really want Him to anoint you with His favor and use you for His work, then humble yourself before the Lord by recognizing His Power and admitting your inadequacy. The more you humble yourself, the more Grace God will give you, and do for you what you could never do on your own. Let the finest piece of your spiritual essence be humility. “God opposes the proud, but give Grace to the Humble” Proverbs 3:34
