Trust in the Lord
This week’s Devotional Topic
Have you learned how to lean on Jesus during those difficult times of life? Trusting in the Lord, leaning on His adequacy, is possible as we anchor our confidence in the promises of God. When we place our faith in God’s Holy Word and we accept it as His Truth despite our wavering feelings, we will grow spiritually.
We can simply believe that God means what He says and that He will fulfill all of His promises. The person who trusts in the Lord is Blessed. He clings to the Promises of God, delights in the character of God, and worships God in good and trying times of life. He learns to lean on the everlasting arms that will never fail or forsake Him.
