This week’s Devotional Topic
Strong In The LORD
God made us and knows our weaknesses. Are you feeling weak today? Are you struggling with temptation and wish you had the strength to do what is right. God’s strength is made perfect in our weaknesses. He has many precious promises in His word about how He is our strength. In Him, we can be STRONG.
It was the strong hand of the LORD that delivered the Israelites from Egypt. Consider how that God gave David the strength to stand up to Goliath. And it was the prophet Isaiah who wrote these words: He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. You may want to look this up in Isaiah 40.
Your heavenly Father loves you and He wants to meet all your needs. Invest time in His word and when you need to be strong, remember…we have not because we ask not.
