Children… In Scripture and in Our Lives
Psalm 127:3 tells us that children are an Heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is His reward. A heritage is an inheritance our legacy. And this is not something that we create, it is of the LORD. A child in the womb is His creation, a gift and His reward, a prize.
God has made us His children…”sons”. By His grace we are adopted into His family. and those who have been born into God’s family do not make a practice of sinning, because God’s life is in them. So they can’t keep on sinning, because they are children of God.
If you are not a Christian, not a child of God, then believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved from the penalty of sin and be born again. As God becomes your heavenly Father, He loves you unconditionally as His child. He will never leave you or forsake you.
If you are a child of God, then Thank Him for all He has done, love Him as He has first loved you. Then trust and obey Him for that is the best way to be happy in Jesus.
