Contentment
Peace and contentment are a rare commodity and usually found in small quantities these days. You can have contentment in whatever state you find yourself for many reasons:
1) Because God will provide all of your needs as described in Matthew 6:24-33
2) Because God will stand up for you – Isaiah 59:19
3) Because God is YOUR Deliverer – 2 Samuel 22: 2,3
4) Because the LORD is your strength
And 5) Because you know the secret to contentment shared by the Apostle Paul in Philippians when he shared in chapter 4 that you can “…do all things through Christ who gives…” you strength.
Heavenly Father, restore our faith in you so that we may enjoy the contentment and peace that you have for us as we rest in You, in your love for us and the strength you give.
