The Name of Jesus
There is power in the name of Jesus! The name of Jesus brings “healing”…both Spiritual and Physical. There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. Jesus healed the sick and raised the dead personally while He was here on earth and his disciples then and now witness healing by the powerful name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene.
There is provision in the name of Jesus: Listen to the words of Jesus in John 15 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. And a few verses later: “…Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.”
Jesus has been given the ultimate position of authority: Philippians 2 “…God elevated Him to the place of highest honor and gave Him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father”.
