Harvest of Peace
This week’s Devotional Topic
The most important truth I have learned as a Christian is that Christ is my life. Christ lives in me so that He may live His life through me. You may be passing through a rough season right now. Your finances may be low. Your marriage may be strained. There could be any number of circumstances that could be perplexing you.
It is the love of the Father who seeks to correct and edify you, not condemn you. It was the loving discipline of God that put us out of commission for several months so that we could learn the most important lesson of our life. However, notice that the end result of God’s discipline is a “Harvest of Peace and Righteousness.” Once corrected, we have exciting new fellowship with Christ that is characterized by a wellspring of peace. Accept this correction, learn His truth, and the truth will set you free.
