Our Motivation for Obedience

Do you obey God from duty or fear? Or do you follow and serve Christ out of a heart filled with love? When the love of Christ compels you, you are on the right road to godliness. Your relationship to Christ is a priority, and obedience is merely the follow-through.
This week on Call To Worship, we’re going to be talking about how the apostle Peter had two experiences with Christ, and it all had to do with how much did Peter trust his savior, and how much did he love Him. We’re going to be talking about the need to re-examine our motivation for obedience.
