This week on Call to Worship we are going to seeing and talking about effective prayer in the life of the Believer. Dr. Charles Stanley has some things to say about this in a devotional called “Prayer Works”. When we pray, we are entreating God to become involved in our circumstances and we actively place the results of those prayers into His sovereign hand.
Prayer brings God onto the scene, invoking His power, wisdom, and love. Prayer is the supreme means by which we draw near to God to learn about Him and His ways. We establish a personal relationship with the Father though our times in prayer with Him. He delights in our dialogue with Him because He wants us to know Him and to reveal Himself to us. He loves to hear His children talk with Him.
