Trusting in the Lord
This week’s Devotional Topic
This week on Call To Worship we will be singing and sharing about the joy that is the Christian’s when they “Trust and Obey” their Lord. Proverbs 3:5-6 say this: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
Trusting in the Lord means that we place our present and future circumstances in His hands, confident in His ability to orchestrate people, and events to achieve His will. There is one catch, however. We must first admit our inadequacy. This is where many Christians falter. We can do many things quite well without any apparent need for God’s wisdom. However, His wisdom is displayed in everything, even when we fail to recognize Him. Trusting in God is the wisest decision we could ever make!
