The Good Will of God
This week’s Devotional Topic
This week our devotional will be on “The Good Will of God”. Perhaps your life has not worked out exactly as you would have scripted. I want to encourage you to waive any trappings of disillusionment and consider that God has from eternity constructed a good plan for your life. God’s plan for you began before he created the world. “Long ago, even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.” Ephesians 1:4 (NLT)
Before time, space and matter, God had you in His mind, providentially arranging and orchestrating your life. It may be perplexing, but it is the best possible plan you could conceive and is perfectly designed by a loving God. All He asks is that you trust him moment by moment to execute His purposes for you. No one relying on God’s direction ever got lost by following His direction and purpose for life.
