When God Intervenes
This week’s Devotional Topic
Our devotional this week on Call To Worship will be on how God can Intervene in our lives to keep us from sinning. We all know how important it can be to intervene when we see friends or loved-ones that are on a “road to destruction” in their lives. God is like that and many times He will intervene to keep us from doing something or saying something that will hurt us or damage our testimony. Perhaps you are set on an errant course of behavior that you know is opposed to God’s will for you.
When your heart is fixed on serving and growing in Christ, God will frequently intervene to try to keep you on track with His purposes and plans. This week we’ll share a couple of examples from the life of David in the old testament where God intervened in one instance and not in another.
