This week’s Devotional Topic
O Lord, Our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth…and in all your creation.
This week on Call To Worship we are going to share Psalm 8 and then build our entire program of music and thoughts around the Majesty and creative Glory of Almighty God. Astronomy keeps expanding our vision of the universe.
This and other scientific disciplines, whether they are telescopes or microscopes, should expand even more our vision of how great the Creator of the universe is and when we add in how this great God stoops to love us and wants a personal relationship with us brings us to the realization that only true worship is the proper response.
I encourage you to worship God by starlight tonight and look at the wonder & beauty of the night sky and take time to thank Him for His love and provisions.
“When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers—the moon and stars that you have set in place—what are mortals that you should think of us, mere humans that you should care for us”. Psalm 8:3 & 4
